A Powerful Women’s Leadership Conversation Comes to the Valley
Please join your colleagues and friends for an important and powerful Women’s Leadership event coming to the Greater Susquehanna Valley, bringing together thought leadership, meaningful dialogue, and an inspiring moment of recognition.
Join the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce on January 29, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM for a virtual conversation with Dr. Lise Vesterlund, an internationally recognized economist and co-author of The No Club. Dr. Vesterlund’s research challenges long-standing workplace norms. Participants will particularly focus on the often unseen and undervalued “non-promotable tasks” that disproportionately fall to women. At the conclusion, you will learn practical insights for creating more equitable and effective organizations.
This special program will also feature the live announcement of the 2025 ATHENA Leadership Award recipient, one of the Chamber’s most prestigious honors. Interest in this year’s ATHENA Award has been exceptionally strong, with many nominations received from across the region. One nominator captured the spirit of the award perfectly, writing:
“There are so many women here at my organization who have helped me grow over these last four years. I could easily submit an ATHENA Award nomination for at least half a dozen of them, if not more.”
This program is presented by the Women’s Leadership Committee of the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce and is open to professionals from all sectors who are committed to leadership, equity, and community impact.
Registration is now open at gsvcc.org.
We invite you to join us for an engaging and inspiring midday program that celebrates leadership, learning, and the women shaping our region’s future.
